Warmth at the table
It was after covering part of the “PR9 VCT – Trail of the Water Pipes” that I went to Viana do Castelo to comfort the stomach. It’s already passed the 2 pm and near the fishing port I found the Santos Restaurant where I still managed one table.
The friendliness with which I was received made me believe that this is the right choice to recover the energies spent on the hike. With economic dishes and well served doses, it proved to be an honest and unprejudiced space, where the hospitality is part of the team that in a customer sees a friend.
At the table, a ribs in the oven and fried fish carried us for the comfort of family lunches, the warmth of a space where we feel at home. The pressure white wine accompanied unabashedly this meal, which ended with a cream milk with roasted sugar crust.
