Toast with olive oil for breakfast
For breakfast at Quinta Rota d’Oliveira, on Rendufe village, where I hike the hiking trail “Discover Rendufe” I savor among other delicacies, a delicious toast with oil that filled me measurements. A homemade bread with locally produced olive oil, is the proof that sometimes the simplest things are the ones that marked us and fill our soul.
These two pieces is much of who we are, the very essence of being Portuguese and our history. Being in “Trás-os-Montes”, could not be otherwise.
