After a short walk to work up an appetite, we asked the kids what they wanted for lunch. As always, the answer came quickly and decisively: Pizza!

Although we rarely give in to their food preferences, the setting seemed to be on their side this time. We were at Borba’s Municipal Garden, where they were happily playing in the playground, and right next to it was Pizzeria Buon Appetito. With hunger already kicking in and the convenience of the pizzeria’s proximity, we gave in. After all, sometimes it’s good to break the rules.

Simple and Friendly Atmosphere

The pizzeria features simple, unpretentious décor, creating a relaxed environment that blends authentic flavors with a prime location. For those who enjoy outdoor dining, there’s a pleasant terrace, perfect for sunny days or mild evenings while savoring a delicious pizza. Since it had rained a few hours earlier, we decided to stay inside to play it safe.

Well-Topped and Delicious Pizzas

The menu offers a good variety of pizzas, with combinations to suit all tastes. We tried the Pizza Bella with fresh mushrooms and ham, and the Pizza Tropical featuring the “controversial” pineapple that always sparks debates.

Both pizzas were generously topped, with a crispy crust and bursting with flavor, making every slice irresistible.

The tranquility of the location, combined with the charm of the square, makes the experience even more special—whether for a laid-back lunch or a relaxing dinner.
