Aveiro is a living city, on the streets we feel a contagious joy and the colorful “moliceiros” of “Ria de Aveiro” gladden everyone who visit the city. But a visit to Aveiro wouldn’t be complete without a tasting of traditional flavors. At Zeca, before or after a moliceiro ride, we can sit down a little on the terrace, in the heart of the city, a few dozen meters from “Praça do Peixe” (the Fish Square) and Central Waterway of “Ria de Aveiro”, while we taste some of the traditional products and feel the pulse of downtown.

A visit to Aveiro wouldn’t be complete without a tasting of traditional flavors.

Highlight the well known and delicious “Ovos Moles”, which can be consumed individually wrapped in a kind of communion wafer or directly with a spoon from the painted barrel with motifs of “Ria de Aveiro”. I couldn’t forget to mention “Raivas”, a cookie that goes very well with tea, a juice or a liqueur. And Aveiro Liqueurs have won some international awards, so nothing better than to prove to attest its quality.
So there are more than enough reasons to visit Aveiro and taste the city!
